Our client required a business case for the procurement and implementation of a contemporary, integrated environmental regulatory management system for the NT Department of Environment, Parks & Water Security.

What was delivered

Business Case Development is a critical piece of project documentation for a new strategy or initiative, to guide the proposal through the stages of project planning and development. Our team included the lead consultant and senior business analyst who led the strategic case for change, including business risks and opportunities. Through effective market and jurisdictional analysis, we advised on requirements from both a business and functional perspective. The business case provided the NTG with confidence that the project provided a compeling case for change and addressed the perspectives of strategic alignment, financial viability, and commercial and operational sustainability.

Outcome/benefit

Our business case for the proposed solution for a regulatory management system included indicative costings, an implementation approach and resourcing requirements. Through the business case process, NT Department of Environment, Parks & Water Security was able to secure funding to implement a new online parks booking system to streamline the booking process for visitors to NT parks.
